1 (THU) - ATHENS On arrival in Athens you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
DAY 2 (FRI) -
CRUISING The morning will be free for individual sightseeing or
wandering around Plaka, the old part of Athens. This afternoon you will
be taken to the port of Piraeus to embark on your "Royal Olympic" cruise
ship as she sails for Istanbul. (B,D)
DAY 3 (SAT)
ISTANBUL Morning at sea. Cross the Bosphorus and arrive in Istanbul
for the evening. (B,L,D)
DAY 4 (SUN) -
ISTANBUL This bustling city is a mixture of cultures and history.
Spreading into both Asia and Europe it is a turist's delight. Join an
optional tour to visit the famous St. Sophia, the Blue Mosque and
Topkapi Palace. Continue sailing to Kusadasi. (B,L,D)
DAY 5 (MON)
KUSADASI Arrive in Kusadasi early afternoon. The nearby ruins at
Ephesus are awe-inspiring and an optional excursion will be available. (B,L,D)
DAY 6 (TUE) -
PATMOS/MYKONOS The tiny Greek island of Patmos is reached early in
the morning. Optional excursion to the Monastery of St. John the Divine.
Sail on to cosmopolitan island of Mykonos, famous for its whitewashed
houses and lively night-life. (B,L,D)
DAY 7 (WED)
RHODES Arrive at Rhodes this morning, the ancient site of the
Colosuss. Visit the old city and search for a bargain in the many shops
and stores or visit the wonderful museum and castle. In the early
evening sail to Crete. (B,L,D)
DAY 8 (THU)
HERAKLION/SANTORINI Early morning arrival to Heraklion. Optional
tour to Knossos. Sail to the island of Santorini and explore Fira town
on your own. In the evening return towards Athens. (B,L,D)
DAY 9 (FRI) -
ATHENS Return to Piraeus early this morning and transfer to your
hotel for the last day of your holiday. Choose among many optional tours
that are offered in Athens. (B,L,D)
DAY 10 (SAT) -
ATHENS Arrangements end today with a departure transfer. (B)
