Price Includes: 8 nights lodging at 2.5 star hotels, breakfast daily, 1 lunch & 5 dinners, full time tour director, all deluxe private transfers throughout, luggage handling, all applicable taxes and sightseeing tours as indicated in itinerary.


Not Included: Roundtrip air to Portland, Maine, 7 lunches & 3 dinners, tips to tour guides, driver, hotel staff of approximately $80, optional travel insurance.


Deposit Required: $300 per person will reserve your place. A $100 service fee will be charged for cancellation at any time in addition to our normal payment and cancellation policy.

Day 1 - ARRIVE IN PORTLAND • PORTLAND HEAD LIGHTHOUSE

Travel with us to see the best of Canada’s Maritime Provinces on this wonderful scenic tour! Upon arrival in Portland, we board our motor coach for a scenic drive to the picturesque Portland Head Lighthouse. Dinner is included this evening. (D)


Day 2 - L.L. BEAN • CAT FERRY - BAR HARBOR TO YARMOUTH

This morning in Freeport we shop at the incredible L.L. Bean outlet marketplace. After lunch we'll board the high-speed Cat Ferry from Bar Harbor traveling to Yarmouth. Dinner will be included on the ferry. We spend the night in Yarmouth. (D)


Day 3 - ANNAPOLIS VALLEY • NORTH SHORE • PEGGY'S COVE • HALIFAX

Today we will board our motor coach for a drive through the beautiful Annapolis Valley and along Nova Scotia's scenic North Shore. You're sure to enjoy the "Land of Evangeline." We continue to picturesque Peggy's Cove, famous for its Lighthouse Point, a must for photographers, artists, and tourists alike. We overnight in Halifax.


Day 4 - HALIFAX CITY TOUR • BADDECK

Today we enjoy a guided tour of Halifax. See the famous Citadel, surrounded by a dry moat, as well as the Old Town Clock, Point Pleasant Park, and the Public Gardens. Leaving Halifax, we head north through still more scenic countryside to Baddeck. We spend two nights in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. Dinner is included this evening. (D)


Day 5 - CABOT TRAIL • LUNCH AT THE KELTIC LODGE • ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL MUSEUM

Today we come to the fabled Cabot Trail, renowned for its spectacular scenery. See awesome views from windswept peaks, steeps of sawtooth rock, lonely beaches, and heart-stopping drops down sheer cliff sides. At St. Anne’s we come upon the only Gaelic college in all of North America. We visit the resort area of Ingonish and have lunch at the famous Keltic Lodge. After lunch we pass through the fishing villages of Cheticamp, St. Joseph du Moine, and Grand Etang. Here the people live as their Norman ancestors lived, speaking French, and producing desirable handicrafts. We visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum upon returning to Baddeck for the night. (B, L)


Day 6 - PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND • LOBSTER SUPPER

At Caribou we board the ferry to Prince Edward Island’s eastern shore. On the island we follow the King’s Byway through potato fields and farming areas en route to the capital city of Charlottetown. Tonight promises to be an evening you’ll long remember as we travel to the picturesque village of New Glasgow, nestled along the scenic Clyde River, where we’ll enjoy a lobster feast the island way! Day 7 - PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND TOUR • ANNE OF GREEN GABLES HOUSE • SAINT JOHN

Today we tour the lush farmlands, pass tiny fishing hamlets, and cross the wooded slopes of Prince Edward Island. We travel by the home of Lucy Maude Montgomery, authoress of the Anne of Green Gables series. You’ll view deep coves lashed by ocean waves and marvel at the sandy beaches, stark red capes and green hills. This afternoon we must say goodbye to Prince Edward Island as we cross the Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick. We continue to Saint John for our overnight stay.


Day 8 - ACADIA NATIONAL PARK • BAR HARBOR

Today we leave Canada behind and continue to Acadia National Park, one of America’s most beautiful. Here we will enjoy a ride around the base of Cadillac Mountain on the Park Loop Road. Making several photo stops along the route we then continue to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the Atlantic Coast. From the top we’ll experience beauty and views unlike any we’ve seen before! We’ll take time to visit the quaint little seaside town of Bar Harbor, Maine’s oldest summer resort village. Here we’ll enjoy views of the harbor as we have lunch on our own and visit the unique shops. This evening finds us back in Portland where we have an included farewell dinner. (D)


Day 9 - PORTLAND • FLIGHT HOME

This morning we say goodbye to our group and begin our journey home.
