Day 1: Arrive Honolulu

Enjoy a day flight to Honolulu, Oahu. Airport transportation will be provided to the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel, your first class home for the next 3 nights.

Day 2: Free Day

The "Breakfast on the Beach" service is included each morning. First thing today, relax by the pool area and meet the rest of the people in your group in a special "get acquainted" time. Later today you may enjoy the delightful Waikiki Beach or shop and explore on your own. The day is free with many things to do and see.

Day 3: Polynesian Cultural Center, Luau

Be prepared for quite an adventure as we travel around the scenic coastal mountains to the delightful Polynesian Cultural Center. Admission to the Center includes separate villages with lectures and entertainment shows representing the islands of Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand, Samoa, Hawaii and the Marquesas. Be sure to get a good seat this afternoon for the spectacular boat parade through the tropical lagoon. This evening we have reserved seats for a wonderful luau and show Polynesian revue of song and dance in the world featuring over 100 native performers from all corners of the Pacific before returning to our hotel.

Day 4: Pearl Harbor

An early morning “must-do” activity for anyone visiting Oahu, a visit to the Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor is one not to be forgotten. The memorial honors those whose lives were taken on December 7, 1941, when the Japanese attacked the U.S. Pacific Fleet. At the USS Arizona Memorial, you’ll see footage of the Pearl Harbor attack and pay respects to the hundreds of American servicemen entombed in the battleship below. From there, you’ll head to the rolling green hills of Punchbowl National Cemetery bursting with flowers. As somber as it is beautiful, this famous site is where those who died in the Pacific naval war are buried. To end on a lighter note, you’ll get a narrated tour through downtown Honolulu with more historical sights. In addition to the impressive state buildings and churches, you’ll see Iolani Palace, the one and only royal palace on American soil. Come face-to-face with a statue of the great Hawaiian warrior-king who united the Hawaiian islands, King Kamehameha. By the time you get back to your hotel, you’ll feel part of Hawaii and American history. This afternoon we transfer to our floating resort and home for the next 7 nights, NCL's charming "Pride of America".

Day 5: Maui

Welcome aboard! After a bountiful breakfast buffet, we suggest that you meet your fellow travelers in the ship chapel and then take the shuttle to Lahaina, a charming whaling town full of shops and restaurants. The restored Missionary House is also a very interesting place to visit.

Day 6: Maui, Optional Sightseeing, Free Time

Today is a day for you to choose a tour, the beach or return to town. Suggested tours would be the Iao Valley or a full day to Hana - a long and winding road, but well worth the many panoramic sights.

Day 7: Hilo, Volcanoes National Park

Included in your package is the tour to Volcanoes National Park, a sight that should not be missed. Standing at just over 4,000 feet, Kilauea is not the tallest volcano on the Big Island, but it's certainly the most active. Pass the Halemaumau Fire Pit and the Kilauea Iki Crater before stopping at the Thurston Lava Tube, where a short walk gives you the opportunity for an up-close view of an extinct lava tube. This tour also visits the Hawaii Volcano Observatory and Jaggar Museum. We return to Hilo for free time.

Day 8: Kona Hawaii, Optional Sightseeing, Free Time

Kona is a delightful town with many things to see. For the adventurist we recommend the snorkel excursion or a glass bottom boat tour. Departing port this afternoon, we pass by the area famous for an active lava flow into the sea - a sight you do not want to miss.

Day 9: Waimea Canyon, Kauai

This morning we discover the breathtaking gorge in the heart of Kauai, Waimea Canyon, often called the 'Grand Canyon of the Pacific.' This magnificent canyon in the heart of Kauai is 10 miles long, one mile wide and 3,400 feet deep, with a spectacular array of rainbow colors created by the reds and browns of exposed volcanic rock, mingled with the blues and greens of lush tropical vegetation. The remainder of the day is free with many things to do and see.

Day 10: Wailua River Cruise & Fern Grotto, Kauai

This morning we enjoy a drive through Lihue Town and head north along the dramatic coastline to the Wailua River. At the marina, you'll take a flat-bottom motor launch for your journey up Hawaii's longest navigable river. Disembark for a brief walk to the Fern Grotto, then board your motorcoach and continue a bit further into the valley of the Sleeping Giant. From here, a short walk will bring you to Opaeka'a Falls. We return to the ship for lunch and free time.

Day 11: Oahu, Final Day

Today is free for you to sightsee or simply enjoy one last day in the tropics. An afternoon transfer will take you to the airport for your flight home.

Day 12: Home

Arrival back on the Mainland.
