Day 1

Fly into Fairbanks, Alaska’s Golden Heart City. Transfer via taxi, Uber, or Lyft (or purchase private meet/transfers) to your local hotel.

Overnight in Fairbanks

Day 2

Breakfast will be included this morning. Today learn how the gold rush affected Alaska's interior on a sightseeing tour with an included visit to the Museum of the North. Time is available for shopping, walking or dining on your own in the downtown area. Cruise on the Chena River aboard a sternwheeler and experience the thrill of river travel. Tonight, consider purchasing the optional authentic salmon bake.

Day 3

This morning you will motorcoach south from Fairbanks to Denali National Park. This afternoon, enjoy an interpretative hike along Otto Lake at the Denali Discovery Center followed by a reception with a “Welcome to Denali” talk giving you a glimpse of what will be seen on your park tour. This afternoon will have a stop at Glitter Gulch, where you can browse shops and get a snack or meal. This evening, choose to relax at the lodge, or you can choose from many different optional tours ranging from mild to wild.

Day 4

Breakfast will be included this morning. Today travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour and search the vast wilderness for bears, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This journey is narrated allowing for insight into the animals, flora and fauna of this spectacular region including a snack on the bus. Early May & September tours are shortened due to road conditions.

Overnight Denali. Meal: Breakfast and Snacks

Day 5

Breakfast will be included this morning. Later, board a deluxe dome railcar for a scenic transfer south to Anchorage. Watch for a glimpse of Denali (formerly Mt. McKinley) or black bear along the banks of the Susitna River. Enjoy dinner on the train as the host shares information about the rail belt and stories of adventure in Alaska.

Day 6 - Depart for Home

Breakfast will be included this morning. Your adventure comes to an end with transfer via taxi, Uber, or Lyft (or purchase private transfers) to the airport.
