Price Includes: Round-trip airfare and air taxes, first class hotel accommodations, 9 Buffet breakfasts, 1 three-course dinner in the hotel, 1 local speciality restaurant dinner in Costa del Sol, professional multi-lingual Tour Directors, a qualified local city guide in Madrid, Toledo, Cordoba, Seville, Granada and Ronda, luxury air-conditioned motorcoaches with reclining seats and washroom, Madrid Airport Transfer is provided on Day 2 and Malaga Airport Transfer is provided on Day 11, all hotel service charges and tips, baggage handling fees and local taxes, entrance fees per itinerary.


Not Included: Entrances/sightseeing/meals other than specified in itinerary, transportation and guides other than specified in itinerary, tips and gratuities to driver and guides.


Deposit Required: $300 per person will reserve your place. A $100 service fee will be charged for cancellation at any time in addition to our normal payment and cancellation policy.

Day 1: Depart USA For Spain

Enjoy an in-flight meal and relax on our overnight flight to Madrid.


Day 2: Arrive Madrid

Your guide meets you at Madrid's Barajas airport and transfers you to your hotel. This afternoon, we enjoy a sightseeing tour with a local guide highlighting the Puerta del Sol, Parliament, Cibeles Fountain, Royal Palace, Plaza de España, as well as the elegant Paseo de la Castellana. Later, meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers for a welcome drink. Tonight, why not dine out in the old town? Hotel: Holiday Inn (2 nights)


Day 3: Madrid - Toledo Excursion

This morning, we enjoy an excursion to Toledo, ancient capital of Castile. With a local guide we visit the Jewish Synagogue, the Cathedral and a local Damascene workshop. Later, we return to our hotel, perhaps to enjoy a Spanish siesta or to take a stroll in the gardens of the Retiro Park! Want to try some Spanish tapas? The bars in the Plaza Mayor offer a great selection! (BB)


Day 4: Madrid - Cordoba - Seville

Today we make our way south to Puerto Lapice, where Don Quixote is said to have been dubbed knight by the local innkeeper. Then a short drive to Roman Cordoba where sightseeing includes a visit to the renowned 'Mezquita'. Later, on via Bailen and to the passionate city of Seville, home of Flamenco, for our three-night stay! (BB D) Hotel: Zenit Sevilla (3 nights)


Day 5: Seville Sightseeing & Leisure Time

Morning sightseeing takes us to see the beautiful gardens of the Maria Luisa Park, the weather-vane of the Giralda and the 'mudejar' style Alcazar. Then there's time to relax or further explore, don't miss the Santa Cruz quarter. This evening, why not enjoy the passion of a fiery Flamenco show? (BB)


Day 6: Seville - Jerez de la Frontera Excursion

We drive along the 'autopista' to the sherry-producing town of Jerez de la Frontera. Here we enjoy a visit to a 'bodega' to sample some local blended wines. We also visit a horse stud to see the handsome locally bred mounts before our drive back to Seville. The rest of your day is at leisure perhaps do some shopping. (BB)


Day 7: Seville - Granada - Costa del Sol

This morning, we drive to the breathtaking city of Granada. Here our local guide takes us on a tour of the spectacular Alhambra Palace, a hilltop complex of Arab buildings and gardens. Finally, we drive in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada to the Costa del Sol. Along the coast and through Torremolinos to Marbella for four nights. Tonight, why not enjoy a dinner of sea bass baked in a salt crust? (BB) Hotel: Andalucia Plaza (4 nights)


Day 8: Costa del Sol - Marbella & Ronda Excursion

A drive along the blue Mediterranean coast in the millionaires' resort of Marbella with its beautiful white-washed villas and elegant yacht marinas forms part of our orientation. Time for some window-shopping before we drive into the Serrania de Ronda - split into two areas by the Tajo ravine. Here our guided tour visits the Plaza de Toros, and takes us through the narrow alleys and past white houses garlanded with flowers and ornamental ironwork balconies. Later, there's time for a 'merenda' before we return cross-country to our hotel. This evening, we enjoy an included dinner of local specialities before we retire for the night. (BB) (HD)


Day 9 & 10: Costa del Sol at leisure

Two full days to lounge on the glorious sandy beaches, play a round of golf, go on a shopping spree or people-watch from an open-air café. Or why not take an excursion across the sea to Tangiers in Morocco? Maybe take a short trip to the Rock of Gibraltar for some duty-free shopping or to the pretty hilltop village of Mijas. Or alternatively, just simply while away the days sipping cool drinks and writing postcards by the swimming pool! At cocktail hour, you may wish to savour the atmosphere of a 'tapas' bar. Day 11: Costa del Sol - Malaga - USA

After breakfast this morning it's 'hasta la vista' to Spain and your fellow travelers as our Tour Director transfers us to the Malaga airport for our return flight to America at the end of this Spanish fiesta! (BB)
