Day
1: Arrive Cape Cod
It was many years ago that Patti Page sang these familiar words:
If you're fond of sand dunes and salty air, quaint little villages here
and there you're sure to fall in love with Old Cape Cod. And today you
will still fall in love with Cape Cod as you set about exploring this
narrow spit of land. As you arrive, enjoy a WELCOME RECEPTION, where
your Tour Guide will distribute itineraries and information. Later,
DINNER is planned. (D)
Day
2: Provincetown/Chatham
Today, after BREAKFAST, explore the length of Cape Cod. Travel the Old
King's Highway, arriving in PROVINCETOWN for lunch on your own and a
chance to browse the many shops. An afternoon drive to the lovely town
of CHATHAM and the National Seashore awaits before a special evening,
featuring a New England LOBSTER DINNER. (B,D)
Day
3: Cape Cod Railroad/Canal
After BREAKFAST, climb aboard the CAPE COD CENTRAL RAILROAD and
feel the thrill as the whistle blows and you begin your fun-filled
adventure from Hyannis to Sandwich. You'll pass cranberry bogs, natural
woodlands, lush marshes, and more as you make your way to the Cape Cod
Canal. Your motorcoach will meet you at journey's end, and we will learn
about the Cape Cod Canal, which makes the Cape an "island".
Then, it's on to everyone's favorite bargain shop-CHRISTMAS TREE SHOP.
Later, enjoy DINNER. (B,D)
Day
4: Hyannis/Sandwich/Plymouth
After BREAKFAST, discover HYANNIS, the hub of Cape Cod. See the
Kennedy Memorial, St. Francis Xavier Church and Hyannisport. Visit Cape
Cod's oldest town, SANDWICH, en route to PLYMOUTH. View Plymouth Rock
and the Mayflower II. Learn why Massachusetts has become the Cranberry
Capital of the World at the CRANBERRY WORLD MUSEUM. This evening enjoy a
GALA FINALE DINNER with ENTERTAINMENT. (B,D)
