Day 2 London And Bristol
Upon arrival we are met by our guide and board our motor coach. Our first stop is at Salisbury for a visit to the famous cathedral. The builders of the gothic church claimed it to be "so great a church to the glory of God that those who come after us will think us mad even to have attempted it." Once again we are on our way to yet another wondrous sight, the Neolithic monument of Stonehenge which dates to around 2800 BC. Following lunch we head to Bristol where we'll visit Broadmead and John Wesley's chapel. Built in 1739, the church is the oldest Methodist chapel in the world. After a visit to the home of Charles Wesley and the Portland Chapel, we check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Bath And Hanhan Mount
This morning our travels take us to the most elegant city in England-- Bath. Since the 1st century AD, the steady flow of hot mineral springs has made this a fashionable spa resort for the early Romans and later, the British monarchs. The ancient remains of the city are the finest preserved Roman ruins in Great Britain. This after noon we travel to nearby Hanhan Mount where Wesley preached in 1739. Dinner and overnight in Bristol.

Day 4 Oxford And Stratford-Upon-Avon
Following breakfast we leave Bristol for the town of Oxford. The town is the home of the world's first English-language university. A local guide will take us on a brief walking tour to visit the Lincoln College rooms once occupied by John Wesley. This afternoon we visit Witney where Wesley preached in 1725. Dinner and overnight in Stratford.

Day 5 Stratford-Upon-Avon
A full day of sightseeing in Stratford includes visits to the beautiful buildings connected with William Shakespeare and his family . We'll visit Anne Hathaway's impeccably preserved thatched cottage and gardens. At the Harvard House, we will hear the history of the founder of the famous American university. Other Shakespearean sights include a visit to Mary Arden's house (the Bard's mother), and New Place where the writer retired in 1610. Our final visit of the day is at Shakespeare's birthplace. Dinner and overnight in Stratford.

Day 6 Chester
Upon arrival in Chester this afternoon, the day is at your leisure. Stroll the medieval streets past black and white timbered buildings or seek out the preserved Roman wall. Other noteworthy attractions include the Abbey Square and 16th century Chester Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Chester.

Day 7 York
Enjoy another afternoon at leisure in the walled city of York. The richly layered history of York is visible in its magnificent architecture. Along with many first-rate museums, the city alone is a treasure in itself. Visit the crumbling Clifford's Tower, the only remains of York Castle. The Shambles is actually one of the most picturesque streets in York, which once served as butcher's row. The largest medieval cathedral in northern Europe, York Minster, is the city's crowning glory. Dinner and overnight in York.

Day 8 Epworth & Lincoln
Today our tour concentrates on the Wesley family history as we travel to Epworth, the birthplace of John and Charles. It is also where the World Methodist Council is based. Our journey takes us on to Gainsborough and the Old Hall. In the 16th century it was the meeting place of the early Dissenters later known as the Pilgrim Fathers. John Wesley preached at the hall several times. Dinner and overnight in Lincoln.

Day 9 Lincoln
Medieval monuments dominate the narrow lanes in Lincoln. Reminders of the Danes and the Romans seem to be everywhere. The town is full of history. We'll visit the Lincoln Cathedral, known for its Wesleyan ties, the Cardinal's Hat, Lincoln Castle and the New Port Arch. Situated at the corner of a steep hill is the 12th century House of Aaron, said to be the oldest inhabited dwelling in England. Dinner and overnight in Lincoln.

Day 10 London
Before arriving in London we'll make a stop at Cambridge. The university of Cambridge is known for producing some of the world's greatest scientists. We arrive in London in time for dinner and overnight.
