Dear Pilgrim, Wanda and I just returned from another wonderful time in
Israel along with our expectant daughter and son-in-law. We had a
number of groups touring and it was the perfect time to evaluate our
itineraries. Please note that we have made some minor improvements
in the schedule.
We returned home with many new friends and a renewed passion
for this spectacular part of Christian history. There is really
nothing else like it in the world. We safely viewed all the sites and not once did we
feel in danger.

Responding to all of your questions, with joy.
*Pre-Tour Info: I printed 28 pages of information from PILGRIM TOUR's website on the Biblical sites. I studied before leaving AZ. This was the first blessing of many to follow.
*Airport and transfer service flowed with perfection. I personally appreciate having Cathy Hunder as our travel agent....She answered questions in a way that kept my resolution to keep our Aug. Tour dates as planned. Her airline arrangements were a relief as Jennifer and I had ample time between transfers.
*The choice of hotels and meals would again be a perfect choice. My daughter, Jennifer, and I went a day early to Yad HaShmona. Working at their reception desk were Yael and Miriam, explaining to me that theirs was the only Messianic Jewish moshav in all of Israel...Please continue to use them for future tours....a precious people in very difficult times.
*All chosen sites were valuable. I am still trying to get my head out of Israel to live in a very quiet but lovely community for Active Seniors !!!
The energy in Israel was addictive.
*The devotional leadership was vital to my own needs. I'm just now re-entering community after being alongside my husband as the Lord received Bob to Himself over 2yrs. ago....
There were 6 pastors among us. Irit had all of them participate.
*About Irit Doron: The Best of the Best Israeli Tour Guide....True. I've only been once and have had no other Tour Guide, but she was outstanding beyond words. Her knowledge of the sites, of all of Israel, of its' history was more than expected....The joy of Irit is her amazing graciousness in bringing 30 people into almost immediate fellowship as a family. You realize there were 8 USA states and 2 Canadian provinces represented.
What pastor could pull off such 'togetherness' in 8 days???
Further, about Yoram. He was Irit's choice of a driver.. All loved him.
His driving skills gave confidence in such traffic.

*About the safety of touring Israel with PILGRIM: No one in the Group was nervous as far as I know. The peace of God was everywhere, every day, all the time.

Thank you for your email. The tour was excellent and our guide Nour Hassan was the best. He arranged an excellent guide for Mt. Moses which could not have been better. The Nile Cruise by Sonesta exceeded our expatiations as the accommodations could not have been better and the food and service was great. I would give the tour a 9 to 10. Security was fine and it is obvious that the Egyptian government is trying very hard to keep their guests safe.

I have now completed my second trip with Pilgrim Tours and can say I could not be more pleased. On both trips, the first to Athens, Patmos, Rhodes, Ephesus, and Rome, and now our trip to Israel, I have been extremely pleased with the professional help I have received from you and your entire staff. The groups have been well cared for and the trips have be thoroughly planned. Your suppliers overseas have given excellent attention to every detail.
On the trip we have just completed to Israel there were some who worried about our safety…I assure you we felt completely safe everywhere we went. Our trip to Bethlehem was a wonderful and pleasant addition to our trip.
If anyone is wanting to plan a trip to Israel I would highly recommend they do so right away while the crowds are smaller and the service is excellent. If anyone would like to talk to me personally about the trip or safety concerns I would be glad to talk to them.

Dear Dan,
We have just returned home from Israel and Jordan. I wanted to let you know that I had an amazing time on this trip of a lifetime and so enjoyed our tour guide and driver. Our entire group connected so well with Shimon and Dov, we were like one big family. We were so sad to say good-bye when it was time to leave. I think Shimon gave every person a hug goodbye as we were waiting to check-in on our flight home. I loved the fun and enjoyable atmosphere he created as he taught us so much about the Holy Land. I am in awe at Shimon's amazing background and knowledge. It was a pleasure getting to know him. He is definitely the right person for this job. What a trip!! I also wanted to let you know that I never felt scared or unsafe during our tour. I'm sad about the situation going on in Israel and will continue to pray for the peace of Israel, but I'm so glad our tour was not cancelled. With so many other tour groups canceling, it felt like we had Israel all to ourselves. Each venue that we toured offered something significant. I'm looking forward to reading the scriptures in a new light from now on. I now have a visual picture of the time, places and experiences mentioned in the Bible. How exciting!

Just a note to let you know how pleased we were with all the
arrangements you made for us to enjoy our stay in Israel.
Everything was handled very professionally, and we were
amazed at how many places we got to see. We were on the
orange bus with "Mickey" as our guide. He was very well
informed, very organized, and very sensitive to our needs.

I have been a professor of history at our Bible
College for 39 years now, but I can truly assert that I
have had no comparable experience to the wonderful trip
to Greece we just took. This excursion -- walking in the
footsteps of Paul -- was exhilarating, and our guide was
excellent. He showed us breathtaking sites and explained
each clearly and thoroughly. He connected the
archaeological excavations of Biblical cities with their
Biblical references adeptly, giving our tour group a
much richer understanding of New Testament references
and culture. The fellowship with good brothers and
sisters in Christ was "icing on the cake".
Also, the accommodations and food were great. I would
recommend this same trip and same guide to anyone with
my highest accolades.

This note is
really late, but I still wanted to write and let you know how
much I appreciated all of your good work relating to our Holy
Land trip. I have been with 3 other tour
companies in the past 13 years and there have been some good
memories and some that I just cannot forget. Out of all of
my previous 8 trips, this was the VERY BEST of all of them!!!
All of the people that went with me commented and spoke about
the professionalism that Pilgrim Tours showed them in every
detail of our trip. I am so pleased that we had a Jewish
guide and driver. That was something new for me and I
wouldn't have it any other way in the future. I was also
glad that we scheduled in the Dan Nature reserve, the Nazareth
Biblical Village, and the Genesis Land Project (Abraham's Tent).
They were a real plus to the trip. The overnight stay at
the Dead Sea was a real hit with our ladies too. Thanks

Just a short
note to tell you how much we loved our tour to Israel through
your company. Everything was superbly organized and it all
surpassed our highest expectations. The tour guide on our bus
was very knowledgeable and inspiring, but also very
entertaining. This is definitely his calling. Another
highlight for me was the talk we attended by Mr. Victor Smadja.
My great grandmother was a person who loved and prayed for the
Jewish people in Holland. She passed that love onto my
grandmother, who passed it on to my mother and she in turn
passed it onto me. After Israel became a country in 1948 many
people came to my grandmother and said, "Geer, Geer, you were
right about what would happen." Her response was, "I am not
right, The Bible is right!" Listening to Mr.Smadja was seeing a
living answer to many prayers. We would highly recommend Pilgrim
Tours to all our friends and family.

Just a note about
our tour of the Holy Land. The tour exceeded
even our eager expectations. From beginning to end they had every
detail under control. They met us at the airport and even
accompanied us back to the airport at the early hour of 2:30 AM.
Our tour guide, was just outstanding. We cannot say enough good
things. Seems like the other 4 tour busses were happy with their
guides. Our bus driver was very pleasant. Our guide even
added a few extra side events for us, including a brief tour of his
town in a Jewish Settlement in the West Bank. It is a town of
35,000 people and is absolutely pristine. Our flight over on
Austrian Air was the best International service we have ever
received. Terry, once again our thanks to Pilgrim Tours for a most
memorable trip.

The Egypt
trip for which we planned so long is now complete and we are all back
home. Overall, it was an excellent trip. You did a very good job of
planning the sites that we would visit, and all other details were

tour guide that you arranged was outstanding. He was so easy to

They all were superb, very friendly and helpful, and welcomed us
genuinely into their countries. We especially enjoyed our tour
guide in Jerusalem. She was fantastic and so informative in
all of the awesome places we visited. The trip over into
Bethlehem was very eye opening and we never felt like we were in
harms way. Our guide in Bethlehem was very nice as well. We
loved the Tiberias area and the Sea of Galilee!!! It was neat
getting to see the pyramids etc. and our guide for this was very
knowledgeable. We enjoyed Petra and our guide was very
helpful!!! There were so many other things we enjoyed but most
of all it was very special to be where Jesus walked. Our guide
calmed our thoughts getting into Tel Aviv to the airport
so early on that Saturday morning. Everything went smoothly and
for this we are thankful. She opened our eyes to diverse
cultures living in Jerusalem. John and I are still trying
to sort it all out, learn more about their sensitive situation
and we want to go back!!! Thank you for working out all of
the details for this trip to be one of the BEST trips we have
even been on!!

quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed the tour. I think the
others on this tour felt much the same. A little feedback. Our
Egyptian guide, Mido, was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and loads of fun.
He was also very helpful with logistical things, shopping tips,
etc. We felt very safe in his care. Our Jordanian guide, Katherine
(Katia), was very nice and knowledgeable. Our guide in Israel,
Mickey, was also very knowledgeable and entertaining. This was a

Just wanted to let you know how amazing our tour was. It was everything
you said it would be and more. The places we visited and sites we were
able to see was an experience I could never have dreamed of. Our
accommodations were first rate, the rooms, the food and the service were
unbeatable.
As you promised, our tour guide was there to meet us at the airport and
was with us the whole way going above and beyond to assist and make sure
everyone had everything they needed. He went out of his way several
times to accommodate special needs/requests. Everything was done to make
us feel safe, secure and comfortable. All we had to do was relax and

Thank you for the privilege of being sent
on the Holy Land Tour with Pilgrim Tours. It was a life changing
experience. My perception of the Bible Lands had been limited to reading,
Bible classes, and pictures placed in my mind as a child reading the Bible
stories, but that has been totally changed. Until a person actually visits
the Holy Land they cannot fully understand the significance of all that is
being said in the Scriptures. As we walked where Moses and the children of
Israel journeyed, or traced the steps of Jesus, everything came into
sharper focus of how significant the topography and geography of the land
impacted these Bible characters. Seeing the climate, people, and economy
of the Holy Land changed the backdrop of all those wonderful Bible
accounts from black and white to full color.
The travel was very enjoyable, being able
to fellowship and experience these sites with people with a heart for God
made each experience much more significant. We always felt safe in each of
the countries of Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. The accommodations and food
were beyond what I could have ever expected. The tour guides were
excellent. They not only were extremely knowledgeable, but passionate
about God's Word and the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for this opportunity! I believe
that God will use this in my ministry of His Word. I pray that it will be
a blessing to many. This is a must for any pastor!

Dear Steve,
We
returned from an interesting tour of Israel about a week ago during the
time of the most recent conflict in the north.
In spite of the
unrest, we had a great time and your company and our guide are to
be commended. They juggled the dual responsibilities of
keeping us safe and
ensuring we got to see as much of the Holy Land as was possible.
I can truly say that
I never felt threatened during our time there. I think our families
back home were more concerned than we were as CNN, FOX, etc.
ran non-stop stories on
the conflict and painted a pretty grim picture.
The
hotel
accommodations were
excellent at every stop.
And the travel to and
from Israel from Chicago was flawless. We flew Alitalia and
everything was very smooth.
As an aside, I had
e-mailed you before our trip about jogging in Israel. You said Sea
of Galilee area and Dead Sea would likely be the best. You were
absolutely correct. Tel Aviv could have been a jogging site had I
not be recovering from jet lag, but the other two locations had
wonderful areas to take
a run.

We got back last night from the
Holy Land tour you set up for us and, I've got to say, it was just about
as perfect as it could possibly have been. My family enjoyed the tour we
took in 1999 with another company thoroughly, but if we put the two side
by side, there is virtually no comparison. We had an amazing guide, the
hotels were superb, the agenda was exactly the right pace, EVERY detail
was taken care of such that there was virtually nothing for me to do but
enjoy the tour along with my people. I can't thank you enough for the
experience you afforded us. Please feel free to use me as a

Dear Pilgrim Friends,
I just want to say Thank you, for a wonderfully spiritual
trip to Israel. We returned with a whole new appreciation for the
wondrous word of God. The bible has become color to me now rather than
black and white, it is truly alive. I want to specially thank our
tour guide. He was the "most knowledgeable" man of scripture I
have ever met. I have talked with lots of people but never have I met
anyone with more biblical knowledge than him. He makes the stories
come alive. I would also like to add a big Thank you to our bus driver
Khader Farrj. I would tell anyone who is going on the Christian tour to
request him as he is kind, patient and understanding of our beliefs as he
is a Christian himself. This is truly a life changing experience
that I would advise everyone to take. We never felt threatened or in harm
by any means. We were sheltered in the loving arms of God and Pilgrim
tours. You have some very wonderful capable staff who you should be quite

I wanted
to drop you a note to thank you for a WONDERFUL tour to Israel. We
were able to get a group together and combine with some others you put
with us to make for a most enjoyable time. Our guide and driver
were superb! Our guide wove the Biblical importance into the sites
we visited. He included much of the modern history of Israel as
well. He was balanced, Biblical, and personal. He quickly
learned our group and adjusted himself to our "personality." He
was full of information and fun! Our trip was not boring or dry.
It was alive and fresh.
Our
accommodations were good. The food buffets were more than
adequate. Having lunch at some local spot was refreshing. It
gave us a chance to taste local delicacies. The porters were very
helpful as well as the hotel staffs. Our hotel at Masada was
super. It was so invigorating to float in the Dead Sea, relax in
the hot tub, and then swim in the pool.
I know
each and everyone who went has returned with a very positive experience
and would go back again. We never felt any uneasiness while in
Israel. We knew we were safe in the hands of the Lord and the
security of Israel.

excellent during the preparation time, no matter what question I had you
took the time to explain it to me. When our group began to travel,
we were met in the airport by a man who helped us through customs.
As we journeyed through the land of Israel we had a kind, helpful, and
knowledgeable guide. Accommodations in the country of Israel and in

I just returned from the Best of
Israel/10 day package with the add-on to Egypt. I must tell you
this was the most sensational/packed tour I have ever taken.
It would be my privilege and honor to
be a reference for Pilgrim Tours. It was the best vacation of my
life. Not only did I learn allot about religion and history but I
met the finest people on the tour which I'm sure will become life-long
friends. Since I've been back, only two days, several of us have

As you may recall, we were on the Israel
trip that got back at the end of July. We want to let you know
that we had a very favorable
experience for our trip. We enjoyed it thoroughly. And for
us it was just what we were looking for. The very knowledgeable
guide was excellent. He kept us entertained and informed
with his wit and insight of Israel. He kept us busy from 8:00 in
the morning to about 5:00 in the evenings. This was a good thing
because for us and probably for much of the rest of the tour group, this
may have been the one and only time we will go to Israel. We
wanted to see as much as possible in the too short of a time we had
there. He seemed to know when the group needed a rest at the right
times, as well. And, we always felt safe. (oh yeah, our flights on
Swiss Air were very accommodating as well.)
My wife really enjoyed the Dead Sea stay,
but not only that; she enjoyed bargaining with the various shop owners
in Jerusalem and elsewhere. And for me, as well as for her, we now
have another dimension at our fingertips when reading the Bible.
This will go along way in our familiarity and understanding of what took
place and where it took place when getting into the Word. We
feel truly blessed to have gone on this trip. And though it may be
the only time we will ever get to Holy Lands, someday we would like to
go back. We are recommending Pilgrim Tours to others who might be
interested in travel, especially the trip to Israel.

Dear Steve,
Don and I just wanted to let you know that
we had a wonderful time on our recent trip to Israel. We felt
totally safe and secure and never felt in any danger at any time.
Our tour guide, was a fountain of information about the history of
this wonderful country and was very patient with all of us. I will
never forget our trip. Don and I were celebrating out 25th wedding
anniversary and were trying to decide were to go. After many
months of looking at many different places, we were inspired to go to
Israel and we are so glad we did. The hotels were top notch, the
food delicious and the tour was fabulous. I am now inspired to
encourage others in my church as well as other churches in my community
to go to Israel, the birthplace of our faith. My hope is to get
more of these trips scheduled and perhaps go again myself. I came
back with a deeper understanding of my faith and an incentive to get
other Christians to go and experience what we did. Thank you again
for this wonderful opportunity. It was especially nice to meet
your local representative who shared his faith with us on evening at our
Dead Sea hotel. He is a special man with a vision to share his
homeland with other Christians throughout the world. I intend to
help him.

Dear David;
I'm just getting settled in at home after the ten day
tour to Israel and wanted to let you know what a tremendous experience
we've had. Who would have thought we could actually pull off two
of us flying from the states and meeting up with one coming from Kuwait
without a hitch or delay? But it happened! When Michael and
I arrived at Tel Aviv, Paul was there waiting for us, right along with
the tour guide and a friendly representative of Pilgrim Tours.
It was such a joy to make new friends
of folks who came from all over the states. We were fortunate with
21 in our group to have three pastors and share in devotions each
morning, a baptism, a Sunday night worship service and communion at the
Garden Tomb. Our guide called us a 'family' and that was certainly true.
Everyone raved about Ido, (an archeologist), and his
expertise. He filled each day with an abundance of sights and
information and the promise of "you haven't seen anything yet," for the
next day. He more than fulfilled his role, even arranging events
that weren't on our schedule, and we are already thinking about our next
trip, requesting Ido as the guide of course.
The hotels and food were all wonderful as well.
This is a trip we will always remember and I'm just glad I chose Pilgrim
Tours. May God continue to bless you in your business.

Hello Everyone at Pilgrim.
I just returned from the ten day Best of
Israel Tour. The tour guide was excellent. The food and the
experiences were excellent. Even though we were there when there was
trouble in the West Bank, we did not feel threaten in any way. God did
provide protection for us. Every believer should make at least one
trip to Israel in his or her life time. We all felt as if we were at home
there. I could have used one more day at the Dead Sea as that
experience was very exhilarating. It is a blessing and an honor to
visit the Holy Land.

want to write to thank you for the greatest experience. My tour was of 10
days first class to Israel. Everything was wonderful, the hotels
were all first class as promised, the rooms were spacious and with
beautiful views. The guide and drivers were very nice, helpful and
knowledgeable. We visited so many places and everywhere we went we
never had a problem. Of course, the sites we visited were beautiful
and blessed beyond my imagination. The whole tour was on schedule,
not too fast and not too slow. We visited everything that was
promised in the brochure. I strongly recommend this tour to
everybody. My wish is to go with Pilgrim Tours any other place as soon as
I can.

Hello Bro. David,
Words
cannot express the wonderful experience I had on our recent Israel tour. I know Israel is having trouble, but even in the midst of it
all, the tour was top notch.
You followed through on every turn, getting us to the best places
in Israel, getting us there and back without ANY problems.
Our
tour guide, named Benny, was very bent on making sure we didn't go to
Israel just to buy souvenir "junk", but rather carry the heart of the
country back in our hearts as well.
This guy was the best tour guide we could have ever had, and the
time he spent with us was immeasurable, along with his knowledge of
Israel. He never once kept us
waiting, was on time every day, and if anyone in the future has the
"nerve" to travel there, I hope Benny is still available.
With
all said, I am blessed!! And
you have proven yourselves to be the tour company I hope to use in the
future if plans are made for more travel.
You are operating under tough times and uncertainty due to our
nation's situation, and you came through.
