Days 1-6 Cruising the Atlantic
We
begin our adventure today as we board the Queen Elizabeth 2, a cruise
ship likened to a floating palace where glamorous nights at sea are only
the beginning. The Queen Elizabeth 2 offers aerobic classes, deck
sports, duty-free shopping and so much more. Feel free to enjoy the
cinema, peruse the library and bookshop, stroll along the promenade, or
improve your golf swing at the driving range, while we cruise the
Atlantic on our way to the Old Continent.

Day 7: England
Day 7: England - Small
Group Tour Option
We arrive
early this morning in Southampton Harbor. We start our European tour in
the south of England, first Arundel, dominated by a huge castle, then
later, we drive through Brighton and see the Royal Pavilion before
continuing to Battle. We spend the night in Ashford.
Day 8: Cathedral,
Castle & Capital City
A tour of Ashford provides a
nice start to our day, afterwards we visit the Canterbury Cathedral
before heading for Leeds Castle in the afternoon. While at Leeds Castle
we will have the chance to stroll through the magnificent gardens while
admiring our surroundings. This evening we can look forward to seeing a
show and having a delicious dinner in London, where we spend the next
three nights.
Day 9: London
This morning we have a tour of London with visits to St. Paul's
Cathedral and the Tower of London, from where we see the most important
sights of this beautiful city. We will cruise the River Thames in the
afternoon, and this evening, we can look forward to dinner at our hotel.
Day 10: Tudor Palace & Windsor Castle A visit to Hampton Court
starts our day before we head to the well-known "Tudor
Palace." Later, we have a tour of Windsor Castle, the residence of
Queen Elizabeth II. Windsor Castle is the largest inhabited castle in
the world. Dinner and overnight in London.
Day 11: Eurostar to Paris
We
will board the Eurostar train this morning for our trip today to Paris.
When we arrive in Paris, we will have an orientation tour with dinner
and overnight in Paris, our home for the next three nights. Evening is
free at our leisure.
Day 12: Paris Sights
Our
tour will start early this morning with a visit to Champs Elysées
Avenue, St. Honoré Street and Place Vendôme, home of the French
president and also home of the most famous fashion designers. We
continue our tour with stops at Notre Dame, Ste. Chapelle and finish our
day with a dinner cruise on La Seine River.
Day 13: Palace of Versailles &
Eiffel Tower
We have an early departure this morning to tour
the magnificent and world-famous Versailles Castle and its gardens. As
we return to Paris, we will climb to the third floor of the Eiffel Tower
before enjoying an evening at our hotel.
Day 14: Marseilles, Aix &
Provence
A morning departure by TGV (French High Speed Train)
will take us to Marseilles. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to Aix
and Provence to begin our visit to this warm and welcoming city before
dinner at our hotel.
Day 15: Touring Provence
After
breakfast this morning, we depart for Avignon, where we will visit the
Castle of the Popes. Later we will walk on Saint Bénezet Bridge and
continue on to Nimes with its arenas, Maison Carre, and gardens. We will
also discover La Camargue area before returning to our hotel for dinner
and overnight.
Day 16: Cannes, Antibes & Beyond
We
start our tour today with St. Tropez, Grimaud, and La Napoule. Then we
head to Cannes, home of the famous Film Festival Centre where the stars
congregate each year. We visit the world-famous sites of la Croisette
with its palm trees and luxury hotels, and le Suquet where the rich and
famous play. Later, we will visit Antibes, known for its seafaring
history, where we see Port Vauban, the luxury yacht capital of the
world. Then, it is on to the southern city of Nice. Upon our arrival, we
will tour "Promenade des Anglais," place Massena, the Old
Town, and Crimiez Monastery. Dinner is in Nice where we spend the next
two nights.
Day 17: Monaco
An early
departure today gives us time to tour St. Paul de Vence and Grasse,
where we visit a perfumery. This afternoon will be spent in Monaco, and
we will tour the Cathedral and the Prince's Palace. We will be in Monte
Carlo tonight for dinner, then return to our hotel in Nice.
Day 18: Return to London
Today
we transfer to Nice's train station to take the high-speed train back to
Paris. We will then transfer to the Eurostar train to our northern
destinattion of London. Dinner and overnight in London. Optional Flight

Day 19: Goodbye to the Old Continent
Today
we transfer to Southampton Harbor to re-board the luxurious Queen
Elizabeth 2 as we say good-bye to the Old Continent.
Days 20-24: Cruising the High Seas
Take
the chance to relax in the spa and sauna, visit the computer learning
center, enjoy the bridge and dance instruction offered aboard, or just
spend the next few days relaxing as we return to the New World.
Day 25: New York City
Our
enjoyable adventure ends today as we arrive in New York City.
