Price Includes: All motor coach and land transportation, sightseeing, admissions, services of tour director and driver, lodging, meals as specified in tour itinerary, taxes, gratuities to bellhops and waiters at included meals.


Not Included: Cost of obtaining passports or visas, laundry, meals, beverages or sightseeing not included in the itinerary, travel insurance, gratuity to guide, driver, communication charges, & excess baggage fees. Port charges and gratuities to crew are not included on cruises.


Airport transfers are included only when airfare is purchased from Pilgrim Tours. Taxi service is available for those purchasing their airfare elsewhere.


Deposit Required: $300 per person will reserve your place. A $100 service fee will be charged for cancellation at any time in addition to our normal payment and cancellation policy.

Day 1: Departure from USA

We depart this morning for our flight to Mexico City. Upon our arrival in this former Aztec city founded in 1521, we will be met by our tour manager at the airport. A short orientation tour of this cultural city on our motorcoach will be provided before arriving at our hotel. A chance to freshen up and enjoy the hotel amenities before dining at our hotel. A special evening of entertainment is planned as we arrive at the Palacio de Bellas Artes for a performance of the Folkloric Ballet featuring many regional dances of Mexico with beautiful authentic costumes.


Day 2: Pyramids

This morning is devoted to the colorful and cultural metropolis of Mexico City as we drive along the famous boulevard of Paseo de la Reforma to the main square of Zocalo. Our touring includes the Cathedral, Plaza of the Three Cultures, National Palace with its spectacular murals by Diego Rivera as well as a view of the Templo Mayor. This afternoon we visit to the Teotihuacan Pyramids. These pyramids were abandoned hundred of years ago, but two massive structures, the Pyramid of the Moon and Pyramid of the Sun, still dominate this site known as the "City of the Gods."


Day 3: Pueblo

After enjoying our breakfast at the hotel, we journey to the resort town of Tlaxcala, a pleasant resort with a delightful provincial atmosphere. We continue on to visit the pyramids of Cholula, characterized by its Catholic temples built over pre-Columbian monuments by the Spaniards. Our travels will also include a stop at Loreto Fort, site of the victory of the Mexican Army over the French on May 5, 1862 - Cinco de Mayo! This afternoon we continue on to Xochimilco to take a ride on the beautiful floating gardens on a "trajinera". Overnight and dinner at our hotel.


Day 4: Guanajuato

A rendezvous today with the city of Guanajuato, birthplace of Diego Rivera as we take in the sites of the Artesans Market, a stroll on the Alley of the Kiss, and the Juarez Theatre, a magnificent opera and concert hall. Be sure to look for a "callejonada" (choral performance) as we stroll the Alley of the Kiss in this vibrant city. Guanajuato is renowned for its high quality handicrafts, including local pottery and leather goods. Dinner at our hotel in Guanajuato this evening.


Day 5: Guadalajara

Breakfast will be served at our hotel in Guanajuato before we depart for Guadalajara, Mexico's second largest city. Upon arrival, we will have a brief orientation tour of this historic town which is also the capital of the state of Jalisco. Enjoy dinner and two overnights at our hotel in Guadalajara.


Day 6: El Parian

We will stop at the Plaza de Aramas which is flanked by the Cathedral and the Government Palace where in 1810 Hildalgo issued his proclamation abolishing slavery. Entrance is also included to the Degolaldo Theatre before departing for the nearby district of Tlaquepaque, renowned throughout Mexico for its arts and crafts. In El Parian, take time to hear the music of the many mariachis in this area. Lunch on our own with free time in the afternoon for shopping before returning to Guadalajara for dinner.


Day 7, 8, & 9: Puerto Vallarta

Our last destination is the jewel of Mexico's Pacific resorts - Puerto Vallarta. For the next three days we will relax and enjoy the beach and sun of Mexico. Our oceanfront hotel provides us with an all inclusive meal and beverage plan. During our stay at our Puerto Vallarta hotel, we are free to take part in one of the many resort's activities, join a tour, or visit the town of Puerto Vallarta. The days are ours to enjoy the beach, the pool and the quality of our resort.


Day 10: Homeward Bound

This morning, we transfer to the airport in Puerto Vallarta for our early return flight home to the U.S.
