Day 1 Arrive San
Francisco
Arrive in San Francisco by 5:00pm. Your Tour Director will be available
from 1:00-6:00pm to provide local information for your vacation.
Day 2 San
Francisco sightseeing - Napa Valley
This morning we'll see Union Square, Ghiradelli Square, Golden Gate
Park, the Financial District, Chinatown, and the views from Twin Peaks.
After a stop at Fisherman's Wharf we drive across the "Bay"
Bridge and into California's wine country. This evening, we dress up for
a special dinner and welcome wine-tasting on the deluxe Napa Balley Wine
Train. The elegant train travels through the Napa Valley, with views of
the lush vineyards as we enjoy our freshly prepared gourmet dinner.

Day 3 Napa -
Monterey
This morning we will tour lovely Sonoma before crossing the Golden Gate
Bridge and follow California's untamed coast to Monterey. En route, we
explore famous 17 Mile Drive, known for Pebble Beach and picturesque
views of the Lone Cypress and Seal Rock. Then we continue to Monterey
where dinner is at a local specialty restaurant this evening. (American

Day 4 Monterey -
Caramel - Monterey
This morning is at leisure in Monterey, and then we take a leisurely
excursion to nearby Carmel with time to stroll through this quaint
artisans town. (American breakfast)
Day 5 Monterey -
San Juan Bautista - Yosemite
This morning visit San Juan Bautista, one of the original missions in
California. Then we head towards the Sierras. This afternoon we tour the
valley of Yosemite National Park. See massive Half Dome, impressive El
Capitan, and perhaps one or two of the famous waterfalls. (American

Day 6 Yosemite
National Park - Mono Lake - Lake Tahoe
After breakfast, we cross Tioga pass, (almost 10,000 feet/3,000 meters
above sea level). On the other side we stop to view the other worldly
scenery of Mono Lake before reaching Lake Tahoe. (American breakfast)
Day 7 Lake Tahoe
sightseeing
This morning we enjoy a trip around the azure waters of Lake Tahoe,
including a cable care ride for scenic views over the mountains, forests
and the lake itself. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (American

Day 8 Lake
Tahoe - Sacramento - San Francisco
Today off to Sacramento, for a stop in Old Town Sacramento. We transfer
to San Francisco International Airport where our tour ends on arrival at
approximately 2.pm (American breakfast)
