Day 1: Thursday ~ Arrive Seattle
The Evergreen State welcomes you as you meet your escort at the Seattle Airport. (Please schedule your flight to arrive between 11:00am and 1:00pm.) Start with a tour of the "Emerald City", where highlights include the Seattle Center, the historic downtown area, and Pike Place Market. Check into the Warwick Hotel Downtown and join us tonight for a get-acquainted banquet at the Space Needle Restaurant.

Day 2: Friday ~ Seattle / Portland
Today you will drive south toward Portland. En route, stop and visit the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center where you can view the devastation that Mount St. Helens caused in 1980. Visit Oregon's beautiful state capital, Olympia, and arrive in Portland and the Four Points Sheraton, your home for the next two nights.

Day 3: Saturday ~ Rose Festival
A special treat awaits you this morning; reserved seating for the famous Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade! You'll see why this town truly earns its reputation as the "City of Roses". This afternoon pass through the spectacular Columbia River Gorge via the scenic route on your way to Multnomah Falls. After your mountain experience, return to Portland for overnight. 

Day 4: Sunday ~ Oregon Coast
Depart south through the Willamette Valley to the lush Coastal Mountains on your way to the Oregon Coast. We'll stop in Lincoln City for lunch before we continue to Newport to visit the newly-built Oregon Aquarium and the Oceanographic Museum. You'll also see the world's shortest river -- D-River -- and the world's smallest harbor, Depoe Bay. This evening is free for you to explore Newport on your own. Overnight at the Shilo Inn.

Day 5: Monday ~ Oregon Coast
Travel the scenic Oregon Coast today, with stops at Cape Perpetua and National Dunes Recreation Area. Tour the House of Myrtlewood in Coos Bay and do a little souvenir hunting before driving south. You'll arrive in Gold Beach for your overnight stay at Jot's Resort.

Day 6: Tuesday ~ Rogue River Jetboat
Relax as you float down the Rogue River on a guided jet boat tour. Afterward, reboard the motorcoach and head south to the towering giant trees of Redwood National Park. We'll stop for lunch at the Trees of Mystery, then continue into Humboldt State Park for still more virgin forest. Overnight in the heart of Redwood Country at the Red Lion Inn in Eureka, California.

Day 7: Wednesday ~ Wine Tasting / San Francisco
Journey into Wine Country for a taste of some of the finest vintages produced in the world! Explore a winery and sample some of the wares. Next, cross the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco, where the remainder of the day is free for shopping and exploring. Overnight in San Francisco at the Hilton Fisherman's Wharf. 

Day 8: Thursday ~ San Francisco
The Gateway to the Orient is yours to experience today as you take a city tour of San Francisco. After you've seen all the most famous sights, the afternoon is free for relaxation; then meet your fellow travelers tonight for a farewell banquet at one of the restaurants on Pier 39. 

Day 9: Friday ~ Journey Home
Individual transfers to San Francisco Airport speeds you on your homeward journey. As your flight departs, relax and think back on the wonderful memories that you are taking home with you!
