Nova Scotia
The seas that surround Nova Scotia keep the climate from becoming extremely cold or hot. Summer and autumn bring sunny skies over the coast and pleasant southwesterly winds. The summer temperatures range from 68 - 77 degrees F. in the daytime to 50 - 57 degrees F. in the evenings. Cool breezes prevail along the coast, but the inland air is warmer around the lakes, rivers, woods, and farms.

Average January temperature is 23 degrees F.
Average yearly precipitation is 53 in.
Prince Edward Island
The Prince Edward Island lies along the warm waters of the St. Lawrence Seaway. It enjoys four distinct seasons. With light, constant breezes and low humidity, the average summer temperature is 73 degrees F. Evenings are cool enough for a sweater or light jacket. The mid-winter average temperature is around 19 degrees F.

Average July temperature is 66 degrees F.
Average January temperature is 19 degrees F.
