Day 1 • Arrive in Manchester
We’ll
fly today to Manchester, New Hampshire, then check-in for five nights at
the fine Best Western Executive
Court Inn. This
afternoon, bonus sightseeing will be included for groups with
early-arriving flights. Enjoy a delightful “welcome” dinner in Manchester this

Day
2 • Yorks • Ogunquit • Kennebunkport
Today
we travel to the picturesque Maine coast, following the shore through
numerous colorful seaside towns, including the Yorks, Ogunquit and
Kennebunkport. We’ll have
time for browsing through craft and specialty stores, see the historic
Portland Head Light, then shop at famed L.L. Bean in Freeport.
A traditional Maine lobster feast caps the day at Foster’s
Clambake. (CB,

Day
3 • Green Mountains • Quechee Gorge • Woodstock • Coolidge Homestead
Traveling west to Southern Vermont this morning, our full-day tour
features the magnificent fall colors of the Green Mountains.
Along our route are Quechee Gorge, the “Grand Canyon of New
England,” the charming community of Woodstock, the President Coolidge
Homestead, the New England Maple Museum & Maple Market, and the
Vermont Marble Exhibit in Proctor. Dinner
is included at the Summit Lodge in Killington.

Day 4 • Historic
Boston • Lexington & Concord • Harvard • Quincy Market
We’re off for a full day of sightseeing in historic Boston.
First we’ll pause in Lexington and Concord, where the “shot was
fired heard ‘round the world.” Here
we’ll see the Minuteman Statue and “Rude Bridge,” plus homes of
American authors. Next are
Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in
Cambridge. Crossing the Charles River, we’ll follow the Freedom Trail
to such sights as the Boston Common, Granary Burying Ground, the
Massachusetts State House, Faneuil Hall, the Old North Church and “Old
Ironsides.” In addition to
a stop for lunch and browsing at Quincy Market, we’ll see sights of
modern Boston, including Prudential Center, the Mother Church of Christian
Science, Symphony Hall and Fenway Park.

Day
5 • White Mountains • Old Man of the Mountains • Canterbury Shaker
Village
Motoring through New Hampshire’s White Mountains to Franconia Notch,
we’ll experience glorious autumn foliage as we visit the famed “Old
Man of the Mountains,” ride the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tram for
outstanding panoramic views and follow the beautiful Kancamagus Highway
scenic drive to Conway. We’ll arrive this afternoon at the Canterbury Shaker
Village for a tour showcasing the unique way of life followed by this
industrious religious sect. A
delicious “farewell” dinner will be served at the Makris Steak &
Lobster House nearby. (CB,

Day
6 • Sky-Blue Lake Winnipesaukee Cruise • Departure Home
We’re
sure to enjoy a refreshing late morning lunch cruise on sky-blue Lake
Winnipesaukee, the largest lake in New England, aboard the historic m/v
“Mount Washington.” This
afternoon we’ll connect with our home-ward bound flight at the
Manchester or Boston airport.
