Oahu has been known as "The Gathering Place" since ancient times. Stroll down the bustling streets of Honolulu and you'll appreciate how appropriate that name still is. Visitors from the mainland, Japan and Europe flock to Honolulu and add to its exciting multi-cultural mix. Honolulu's skyline is that of a modern American city, with gleaming office buildings, high rise condominiums and towering hotels.
