The phrase "Maui no ka oi" - Maui is the best - is said throughout the islands by locals and visitors alike. It is on this island that you'll find the world's largest dormant volcano, Haleakala. Several of our shore excursions take you to its summit, where a vast crater the size of Manhattan offers truly breathtaking views.

On Maui, a day at the beach includes not only swimming and sunning, but also the opportunity to view world-class surfboarders and wind surfers. See playful humpback whales frolicking off Maui's coast during whale-watching season, December through early April. The city of Lahaina, one-time whaling capital of the world, now features dozens of shops, art galleries, restaurants and nightclubs.

Follow the famous Hana Highway as it twists and turns through some of the island's most beautiful scenery, and discover the isolated, unspoiled region of Hana. There you can swim in the Seven Sacred Pools formed by seven waterfalls cascading down Haleakala.
