Day 1 -
Saturday - Salt Lake City
Arrive in Salt Lake City between 11:00am and 1:00pm, where your escort will greet you at the airport. You'll enjoy a city tour upon arrival including sites of the 2002 Winter Olympic venues. This evening join your fellow travelers for a get-acquainted banquet. Overnight in Salt Lake City downtown at the Wyndham Hotel.
Day 2 - Sunday -
Bryce National Park
This morning you'll see the broadcast of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (schedule permitting) before leaving city life behind. We're on our way to one of the most unusual and scenic areas in the United States – Bryce Canyon National Park. Bryce displays a spectacular array of thousands of delicately carved spires and hoodoos. You'll want to bring along plenty of extra film to capture the eerie beauty of this "City of Stone"! We then depart Bryce and spend the next three nights in Kanab, Utah at the Shilo Inn. (Kanab was nicknamed "Little Hollywood" because of the numerous motion pictures filmed in this scenic area.)
Day 3 - Monday -
Grand Canyon North Rim
Depart Kanab and head south to Grand Canyon National Park! (This is another day when you will want to be certain to bring your camera, for the vistas of the North Rim are 1,200 feet higher than they are on the other side.) These viewpoints provide a more intimate and private opportunity to experience the awesome spectacle of "Nature's Masterpiece". Return to Kanab for overnight.
DAY 4 - TUESDAY - LAKE POWELL
This morning you're off to Lake Powell for a spellbinding Rainbow Bridge Cruise. This is the largest natural bridge in the world, and for countless generations has been considered a sacred place by Native Americans. After lunch at Wahweap Lodge, depart back to Kanab for a free afternoon. This evening, join the group for a special dinner on a movie set!
Day 5 - Wednesday -
Zion National Park
Today you'll visit one of nation's oldest National Parks, Zion. The six-mile drive into the heart of this unique canyon takes you past the serene grandeur of The Great White Throne, The Watchman, and Weeping Rock. You'll explore this rugged and dramatic scenery before heading to Las Vegas to spend the night at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino. After a farewell banquet tonight you are free to enjoy the casinos or shopping, or catch a glitzy show in this "Entertainment Capitol of the World".
Day 6 - Thursday -
Journey Home
Depart Las Vegas this morning. Your individual transfers to the airport have been included. You'll never forget the magical days you spent in Utah's fabulous National Parks!
