5 Day Tour
Day
1 – Arrive in San Antonio
For the next four nights, enjoy the beauty and romance of the city. Our
hotel is on the famous Paseo del Rio (Riverwalk), a path along the
beautiful banks of the San Antonio River lined with shops, restaurants
and night spots. Meet your Tour Manager in the lobby at 5 p.m. for a
welcome dinner. (Dinner)
Day
2 – San Antonio Touring
This morning the history of San Antonio and Texas comes alive as we are
joined by a local guide for a sightseeing tour of the city. Stops
include Mission San Jose, the Japanese Sunken Gardens and the Mexican
Marketplace. This afternoon is free to soak up the Spanish flavor of
this picturesque city. (Breakfast)
Day
3 – Austin and LBJ Country
Today we travel through the Texas hills to Austin, the state capital. We
enjoy a driving tour of the city before our visit to the LBJ Library and
Museum. Our next stop is Stonewall, the birthplace of Lyndon Baines
Johnson. We enjoy a tram ride at the LBJ Ranch and view the "Texas
White House" where Lady Bird Johnson still resides. This afternoon,
we visit the beautifully preserved German village of Fredericksburg.

Day
4 – The Alamo
Enjoy a visit to this mission and fortress where Davy Crockett and 185
other "Texans" died defending Texas against an army of five
thousand. We see the IMAX presentation, The Price of Freedom. The
afternoon is free. This evening we celebrate our visit to San Antonio
with a farewell dinner cruise along the Paseo del Rio. (Breakfast and
dinner)
Day
5 – Fly Home
After breakfast your Tour Manager will help you transfer to the airport
for flights home anytime today. (Breakfast)
