Canadian Rockies &
Pacific Northwest Grand Tour

Day 1: Montana
This morning we board our flight to Montana. The lodging for tonight is in Kalispell with dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Going-to-the-Sun Highway
We have incredible views today as we travel the 50-mile "Going-to-the-Sun Highway." Cross the Continental Divide through 6,664-foot high Logan Pass, with its spectacular mountains, tall waterfalls and alpine meadows. After lunch at St. Mary's Lodge, we travel north in Albert, Canada to our lodging for the next three nights in the resort town of Banff in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Dinner is at the hotel upon arrival.

Day 3: Banff Springs
Today we have the opportunity to tour and enjoy Tunnel Mountain, Bow Falls, and the Banff School of Fine Arts. This afternoon we have free time for shopping and exploring in the town of Banff or an optional gondola ride up 7,500-foot Sulphur Mountain to enjoy the spectacular view from the top. This evening we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Banff.

Day 4: Lake Louise
Our journey begins again this morning as we follow Kicking Horse Pass into Yoho National Park with its beautiful Emerald Lake. Enjoy a bountiful brunch at the exquisite Chateau Lake Louise. Later we visit the magnificent Valley of the Ten Peaks and lovely Moraine Lake. Dinner tonight is on your own'


Day 5: Jasper National Park
As we travel the Icefield Parkway today, enjoy breathtaking scenery which includes Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier, and the Mistaya Valley on our way. Next, hold on to your hats! We board a custom-made SnoCoach to travel on the Athabasca Glacier. This afternoon we visit Athabasca Falls, then continue on to our lodging for tonight in the resort town of Jasper.

Day 6: Mt. Robson
We leave the Rockies behind today and follow the Yellowhead Highway along the Fraser and Thompson Rivers. We see Mt. Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 12,972 feet above sea level. Continuing on, we travel to our lodging for the night in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Day 7: Fraser Canyon
Travel west today through Fraser Canyon on the Trans Canada Highway to our lodging for the next two nights in the fascinating harbor city of Vancouver.

Day 8: Vancouver
A full day in Vancouver today will allow us to see Stanley Park, Gastown, Chinatown, and many other sights. We will surely find out why this city is called "Canada's Gem of the Pacific."

Day 9: Victoria
This morning we take the BC Ferry to Vancouver Island. After we dock, travel to beautiful Butchart Gardens. Next we tour Victoria, the provincial capital of British Columbia, highlights: Beacon Hill Park, the Empress Hotel, Bastion Square, and Thunderbird Park, with its unusual totem pole collection. Following dinner at the hotel, take a stroll along their charming harbor.

Day 10: Seattle
We depart for Seattle by ferry through the picturesque San Juan Islands and then travel to our hotel in Seattle, Washington. Receive a brief driving tour of the "Emerald City" upon arrival. This evening we enjoy a delicious dinner in the city.

Day 11: Home
We depart from Seattle Airport for our flight home.
