Day
1 • Arrive Edmonton, AB
Passengers to arrive at Edmonton for an overnight stay at an Edmonton
hotel. (Hotel accommodation included)
Day 2 • Edmonton ~ Dawson Creek, BC
Driving north, we pass through the rich farmland, oil field areas and
forests of Alberta, and then cross into British Columbia to arrive at
Dawson Creek for an overnight stay. Meet your fellow travelers this
evening at a dinner hosted by Select Holidays. [B,D]
Day 3 • Dawson Creek, BC ~ Muncho Lake, BC
Visiting Mile “0” of the Alaska Highway at Dawson Creek, we then begin
the drive on the famed Alaska Highway. A lunch stop will be made in Fort
Nelson, BC before continuing over mountain passes and by pristine lakes to
arrive at Muncho Lake for the night. [B.L]
Day 4 • Muncho Lake, BC ~ Whitehorse, YK
Today’s touring will visit Liard Hot Springs and the famous “Sign Post
Forest” at Watson Lake where we have lunch before continuing on the
Alaska Highway to Whitehorse, the capital of the Yukon for a two night
stay. [B,L] (You may choose to bring a name sign from home to erect along
with the thousands of others already there.)
Day 5 • Whitehorse, YK
This morning we visit Miles Canyon and the SS Klondike. You will have free
time in the afternoon to explore on your own. This evening enjoy the,
hilarious Frantic Follies along with the rest of your fellow travelers.

Day 6 • Whitehorse ~ Dawson City, YK
Departing Whitehorse, we follow the Yukon River north to Dawson City for
two nights. Enroute we pass by the settlement of Carmacks, view Five
Finger Rapids, have lunch at Minto Landing. Later this evening we drive to
the top of The Dome for an overview of Dawson City, the Yukon and Klondike
rivers as well as the gold fields. [B,L]
Day 7 • Dawson City, YK
This morning a local guide will take us for a tour of the gold fields
along Bonanza Creek, a tour of the worlds largest wooden hull dredge, and
give everyone a chance to pan for gold before returning back into Dawson
City so that you may enjoy exploring this U.N.E.S.C.O. site on your own.
You may wish an optional visit to Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Casino on your
own this evening. [B]
Day 8 • Dawson City ~ Fairbanks, AK
Leaving Dawson city behind, we cross the Yukon River and travel on one of
the most scenic and highest roads in the North. As the name implies the
“Top of World Highway” travels from the Yukon into Alaska along the
ridge of the mountains. Our destination is Fairbanks, located in the heart
of the interior of Alaska. This evening we have time to enjoy Alaskaland
including a salmon and rib bake. We have a two night stay in Fairbanks. [B,D]
Day 9 • Fairbanks, AK
We start the day with a city and area tour, including a visit to the
interpretive center of the Alaska Pipeline. The afternoon and evening are
free for you to explore and enjoy as you choose. May we suggest the
optional cruise on the Riverboat Discovery? [B]
Day 10 • Fairbanks ~ Denali, AK
The drive today will follow the Alaska Range with Mount McKinley as the
backdrop for an overnight stay in Denali. There will be free time for you
to enjoy some of the many optional activities and tours offered in the
area. [B]
Day 11 • Denali ~ Anchorage, AK
Continuing south on the Parks Highway we arrive into the cosmopolitan city
of Anchorage for an afternoon tour and an overnight stay. This evening
join your fellow travelers for dinner at one of the many outstanding
restaurants in Anchorage. [B,D]
Day 12 • End of Tour
Your tour comes to an end this morning in Anchorage. [B]
