The Union Hotel in Geiranger is something as rare in our time as a 100%
family-run hotel. The present host and hostess represent the third
generation since the Mjelva family took over the hotel in 1897, at a time
when several of the guests were European royalities. Even today they
occasionally delight us with their presence. We are often asked if
traditions and hotel management based on family lines have become an
anachronism. We then quote some of our guests who come back to us time
after time because of these values. The
"Union-atmosphere" has become a solid conception. On behalf of

ROOMS
The majority of our rooms are Standard
and High standard. All are comfortable and well equipped. The
junior suites are found on the top floor. We have eight suites in this
category, and of course they all have a spectacular view. The four DeLuxe
suites are also situated on the top floor. They are all spacious with
separate bedrooms and each suite has an individual interior.

ACTIVITIES
The hotel has unique
possibillities for arranging sightseeings in spectacular surroundings. We
are well trained in arranging both mountain- and fjord excursions, and our
most popular trip heads for the famous mountain farm Skageflå. The hotel
has a huge, magnificent garden with a swimming pool, mini golf and a
popular playground for children. There is also a separate room for
children indoors, with a "Ballpool" for unlicked cubs. The
indoor swimmingpool area includes saunas, turkish steambaths and solaries.
Furthermore, you will find a rifle range and a room for table tennis.
