July 6-15, 2010 
 

 

Day 1: Flight
Leave the US on an overnight flight.

Day 2: Geneva
Arrive in Geneva. Take an orientation driving tour of the city.  You will have a welcome dinner at the hotel tonight.

Day 3: Lake Geneva
After breakfast at the hotel there will be a walking tour of Geneva.  After the walking tour step aboard a cruise and see all of the castles along the shores.  This afternoon transfer to Zermatt.

Day 4: Glacier Express
Board the Glacier Express train today and you will be able to see all the sights of the Swiss Alps through the large glass windows.  You will have a 3 course lunch while aboard the train today.  Arrive in St. Moritz late this afternoon.

Day 5: Oberammergau
Travel to Oberammergau.  Stop to visit Zugspitze and take a ride to the top.  Dinner included with Passion ticket.

Day 6: Passion Play
Visit the Oberammergau Museum this morning.  Lunch included before the play.  Watch the Passion Play. Dinner included.

Day 7: Salzburg
Visit Ettal Abbey and Linderhof Palace this morning.  The next stop will be to Lake Konigsee.  Those who wish may take an optional boat ride on the lake.  After this we travel to Salzburg for an overnight.

Day 8: Salzburg
This morning’s tour will include Residenzplatz, Mozart Museum, Schloss Leopolskron and Mirabell Gardens.  This afternoon travel to visit Berchtesgaden and Eagle’s Nest.

Day 9: Munich
Travel to Munich and be given a tour of the city including Rathaus (Old City Hall), Nymphenburg Palace, and Olympic Park.  There will be a farewell dinner at the hotel tonight.

Day 10: Home
Fly home from Munich airport.
