AEGINA: The biggest island of the Saronikos, inhabited
since the 2nd millennium BC, with 2 major Archaeological sites,
the Church of St. Nektarios who is the last saint recognized by
the Greek Orthodox Church, a marvellous fish market, a unique
floating fruit-market and an economy based on the famous pistachio
nuts.
Why don't you participate in an optional excursion and learn more
about the history of this beautiful island? We will visit by
coaches the temple of Afaea built in the Dorian order at the
beginning of the 5th century BC. at the top of the hill with a
fantastic view. Then, we will visit the temple of the saint
Nektarios where his remains were kept.
After that you can enjoy a walk along the port of Aegina.
POROS: The smallest of the 3 islands, full of pine trees
and lemon trees,
located very close to the Peloponnese.
You may enjoy a promenade high at the clock and admire the
panoramic view.
HYDRA: One of the most Cosmopolitan Greek islands, the
favourite of the International jet-set, the unique architecture of
it's houses, it's narrow streets with the little stores where you
may find jewellery and articles of folklore art and whatever you
may think of, ideal for consumers but also for photographers. Its
crystal clear waters wait to cool you.
