Daily Departures for the Independent Traveler    

Below please find a suggested itinerary.  Please note that this package is available for most city combinations and that additional days are available.

Day 1: Departure
We leave today for our overnight flight to Zurich, Switzerland.

Day 2: Zurich, Luzern
Arrive Zurich, transfer to downtown Zurich or on to charming Luzern for free time in the "old town". (2 nights)

Day 3: Luzern
Sightseeing today can include a full day boat ride on scenic Lake Luzern or continued time in and around this wonderful medieval town.

Day 4: Breinz & Historic Village Museum
Visit the wood carving village of Brienz, then stop at the Swiss Open Air Museum Village in Ballenberg with costumed workers and artisan demonstrations of olden days.  Interlaken (2 nights).

Day 5: Interlaken, Grindenwald
Take the mountain train to Grindenwald for spectacular walks and view of Alpine Glaciers.  Discount tickets are available for Jungfraujoch excursion.

Day 6: Mountain Train, Chillon Castle, Lausanne
Experience an unforgettable journey on the Golden Pass Line, the best of Swiss panoramic trains through the Alps to Montreux.  Visit nearby Chillon Castle and then take the boat from Montreux to Lausanne. (2 nights)

Day 7: Lausanne
A multitude of options today in this lovely French/Swiss City.  Choose to tour the local vineyard region, the Olympic Museum, the Old Town, the famous cathedral or many other sights.

Day 8: Departure Home
Transfer to Geneva for flight home.  Additional days may be added to include Zermat, Lugano, Geneva, etc.
