Dear Cathy,

 We returned home a couple of weeks ago but stayed in Sydney to attend to a few personal matters. We are now home and I would like to thank you for all  your help in taking the Archeological Tour of Sicily back in May.

 The tour was a huge success. Everything was very well planned and organised and we were very fortunate in having a really super group of people. We were twenty three in all, eight Australians, ten Americans and five Canadians.

To add to our pleasure we had the best possible guide. We all adored him and he was the most thoughtful and considerate person we could have ever hoped for. Added to which he was a local and apart from his knowledge of matters historical and archeological his local understanding of the region and his sharing of it with us made the whole enterprise doubly rewarding.

 Thank you again for your part in a truly enjoyable experience for us both. I shall be singing the praises of Sicily for years to come and hope that our word of mouth will inspire more Australians to contact you and visit beautiful Sicily with its rich history and lovely countryside, particularly in spring!

I just got back from the tour.  All I can say was that this was an  incredible tour! This tour was easily worth several times the price.  It was like having our own guide.  He was just the nicest guy you'd ever  meet and along with the hotels and just incredible meals I was just overwhelmed.  We went to places no tour bus could.  We drove around in a  minivan to little towns that could barely fit the car, let alone anything larger.  The meals were first rate in little farmhouses where  the family cooked for us as their own.  I've been to Italy about 6 times already and this is the best food I've eaten!  The tours at the wineries,  the food, the guide, even the company of my fellow 2 travelers was just great.  They were extremely nice.  I'd like to recommend this tour to  anyone who may be interested.  If anyone would ever have any questions feel free to have them email me or call me. In fact I'd love to do this  tour again. If this tour had been advertised as a small group tour with a private guide and first class meals it would have been 4 or 5 times  the price! I just had to let you know and thank you so much in your help with it.  The only thing that wasn't great or bellisimo was the weather.  It rained 6 out of the seven days and was very cool if not downright cold.  But then again with the quality of the overall experience that we  had it was hard to notice.
