Day 1: Depart for Warsaw
Overnight transatlantic flight to Poland.

Day 2: Arrive in Warsaw
Arrival in Warsaw where you'll be transferred to your room at the Europejski hotel. Meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM for the welcome dinner and folklore performance. to begin your Dinner at the hotel restaurant. (D)

Day 3: Warsaw City Tour
Meet the group after breakfast in the hotel lobby to depart for sightseeing of Warsaw which includes: Old Town, rebuilt with great reverence after World War II, its beautiful Old Market Square, the Barbican and medieval defense walls. Continue to Jewish Ghetto Memorial, dedicated to the thousands of lives taken by the Nazis. Then we drive along the Royal Route where many momentous events in Polish history took place. Our next stop will be Lazienki Park with a beautiful sculpture of Chopin, surrounded by fragrant rosebushes. After lunch excursion to Lowicz and Nieborow where you can visit an open-air exhibition of old farmer's tools, famous Lowicz paper cutouts, Fold Weaves and other original collections of art and crafts. Day 4: Bielsko Biala, Jasna Gora & Black Madonna
After breakfast, depart for Bielsko Biala. En route, we'll go to the monastery at Jasna Gora where Poland's holiest spiritual icon, the Black Madonna, is revered as the ''Queen of Poland.'' Lunch in Czestochowa. (B,L)

Day 5: Beskidy Mountains, Koniakow, Istebna & Chocholow
Full-day excursion through one of Poland's most picturesque regions, the Beskidy Mountains, with visits to Koniakow and Istebna, renowned for amazing lace embroidery. Lunch at local restaurant. Sightseeing of the Ethnographic Park at Zubrzyca Gorna and visit the village of Chocholow. Dinner with folk show. Overnight in Zakopane. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Dunajec River & Pieniny Mountains National Park
Morning sightseeing tour of Zakopane, the well-known resort town and center of Poland's age-old Highlander culture. Free time for shopping. Afternoon departure for Krakow. On the way, a four-hour rafting trip down the Dunajec River and through Pieniny Mountains National Park makes an unforgettable experience. (B,D)

Day 7: Wawel Hill, St. Mary's Church & Cloth Hall
Morning sightseeing of Krakow, the former capital of Poland. Your city tour includes Wawel Hill and its fortified Renaissance castle, Old Town, and St. Mary's Church with Wit Stwosz's world-famous altar. Afternoon on your own. Browse through the craft shops that line the Cloth Hall – a great place to pick up all sorts of folk art & souvenirs. (B,L)

Day 8: Wieliczka Salt Mine
Morning departure for Cedzyna. On the way, a visit to Wieliczka Salt Mine: three spectacular, underground miles of hand carved chapels, statues and chambers made of pure salt. Tonight we've included a dinner of Polish cuisine accompanied by local entertainment. (B,D)

Day 9: Cedzyna & Warsaw
After breakfast, depart for Warsaw. The rest of the day is free for last-minute shopping or individual pursuits. (If you want to skip the last overnight in Warsaw, the hotel price will be deducted from the total amount). (B,D)

Day 10: Depart for Home
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to America. (B)
