Including: Captain Morgan adds a new dimension to the phrase "Visiting Malta". Now you can also see what lies beneath the sea that surrounds St. Paul's Islands from our unique purpose-built Underwater Safari Boat - the first of its kind in the Mediterranean. Captain Morgan offers a spectacular Safari from St. Paul's Bay (we berth at Bugibba's il-Menqa next to Bognor Beach) to one of our specially selected sites. Each safari location has been carefully chosen to ensure maximum passenger comfort and optimum viewing interest. The Underwater Safari Boat is specially designed and built - according to Lloyd's Register approved plans - for Captain Morgan. Her observation keel below sea level seats 38 in comfort and her 34 large rectangular windows allow passengers unimpaired panoramas of Malta's magnificent Marine Environment. From the air-conditioned observation keel you will see breath taking underwater sights - diverse species of fish darting in and out through dramatic sea-bed formations, the occasional octopus languidly looking for a snack or a more comfortable cave to nap in, swaying forests of multihued algae and much more. The Seabelow's on-board marine guide will guide you throughout the Safari, explaining the significance and importance of the sea. You will be gliding through and identifying the marine life that abounds in the Maltese waters - the clearest and cleanest waters in the Mediterranean. During the Safari you will have the opportunity to see the remains of HMS Kingston sunk during the second World War and the MV Hanini. This 90ft motor vessel was built for the President of Naples in Scotland in 1924. The Hanini was sunk off the St. Paul's Islands and is now the home of many species of fish....a spectacular sight. A fish feeding programme is maintained - captain Morgan's way of saying 'thank you' to our splendid marine life for letting us share the sea. Indeed an Underwater Safari is not only an exciting experience but an educational one as well particularly for children. Each trip is over the duration of an hour and passengers have a minimum viewing time of 20 minutes in the observation keel.
