| GENERAL INFORMATION |
| Driving in Malta is on the left and the speed limits are 40km/hin towns and villages and 65km/h in no-residential areas. Seatbelts are compulsory. |
| DRIVING LICENCE AND AGE |
| The Hirer must be over 21 years and produce a valid driving licence, held for at least 2 years, at time of rental. Drivers aged 21 to 24 years and 70 to 75 years must be approved by the insurance prior to rental and the latter could be asked for a valid medical certificate, stating fitness to drive. |
| INSURACE - (COLLISION AND DAMAGE WAIVER) |
Rates include, passenger's liability
and comprehensive insurance against damage in case of accidents,
theft, attempted theft and valdalism except for an excess which can be
waivered as shown in the table below. (This waiver is compulsory for
drivers 21-24 years and 71 to 75 years)

| FUEL |
| All fuel is paid by the Hirer. Fuel stations close at 18:00 hours and are closed on Sundays and public holidays, however most stations have an electronic self service system which is open 24 hours. |
| PAYMENT |
| Payment is made at time of rental. All major credit cards, travelers checks and cash are accepted. |
| TRAFFIC FINES |
| All traffic fines and subsequent extra costs are the responsibility of the hirer. Tow away regulations are in force on the islands thus care must be taken to ensure that the vehicles are parked legally. |
| ACCIDENTS |
| In the unfortunate event of an accident
our head office and the police (Tel:191) must be informed, and a
police report should be obtained. Without this report the hirer is
responsible for the cost of repairs. The hirer is responsible for any
damage caused by negligence such as leaving personal belongings in the
vehicle while it is unattended. |
