Weekly Departures Days 1 & 2 • London Relax on our overnight flight to London. Begin your optional sightseeing with a tour of many of the famous landmarks of London, including: Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace, area museums, Knightsbridge with Harrods, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and much more. Day 3 • London - Windsor Palace Today after breakfast, you may travel to Windsor Palace, the largest occupied castle in the world and an official residence of Her Majesty the Queen. Walk around the State Apartments, extensive suites of rooms at the heart of this working palace. This afternoon enjoy London on your own. (B) Day 4 • London /Malta We depart for our flight to Malta this morning after breakfast. Upon our arrival in this Mediterranean paradise we are greeted by our host and transferred to the hotel for the evening. (B) Day 5 • Malta - Blue Grotto & Temples Optional Excursion Discover the beauty of this island hideaway on your own or enjoy an optional excursion to the Blue Grotto and the Tarxien Temples. (B) Optional Tour Price: $50.00 Day 6 • Malta - Gozo & Ggantija Temple Today you travel to Malta's sister island of Gozo, where you will visit the temples of Ggantija, the citadel in Victoria, the bay of Xlendi and Calypso's Cave. After we return to Malta, enjoy dinner at a lovely restaurant overlooking Spinola Bay. (B) Optional Tour Price: $45.00 includes lunch. Day 7 • Malta - Harbor Cruise Optional Excursion Today is yours to continue exploring Malta at your leisure. You may wish to take an optional Harbor Cruise, which provides a detailed commentary, will unfold the history of Valletta and the Three Cities connected with two Great Sieges of 1565 and 1942, as well as all the other places of interest including the historical forts, battlements and creeks which can only be admired from the sea. This evening enjoy dinner at your hotel. (B) Optional Tour Price: $17.00 Day 8 • Malta - Optional Excursion to Sicily After an early breakfast you can take an optional full-day excursion to Sicily, where you will cross over 2 of the 3 highest bridges in Europe. You will also travel the Iblei Mountain range, enjoy free time at Mount Etna and visit Taormina, Sicily's beautiful yachting center. If you wish to stay on Malta, there is an optional half-day guided tour of the beautiful city of Valletta, where you can see the Barracca Gardens, the Grand Master's Palace and St. John's Co-Cathedral, a place adorned with riches dating back to the times of the Knights of Malta. (B) Optional Tour Price: $125.00 Day 9 • Malta - Mdina - Medieval Walled City After breakfast today, you will journey to the central part of Malta that is dominated by the ancient citadel of Mdina. After touring Mdina, depart through the 'Greek Gate' and stop by at the catacombs before proceeding to the cliffs at Dingli. Following lunch on your own, visit the botanic gardens of San Anton and the impressive dome of Mosta's parish church, as well as the crafts center at Ta'Qali where you have time for shopping. Enjoy a beautiful dinner in Mdina this evening prior to returning to our hotel. (B) Optional Tour Price: $40.00 Day 10 • Malta /Paris After breakfast this morning we depart our island paradise for charming Paris. Upon our flight's arrival we will be transferred to the hotel from where you may choose a tour of many favorite Paris sites, including: Champs Elyseis, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Opera and the Eiffel Tower with free time for lunch while we are there. Your day is free to explore after we check into our hotel. (B) Day 11 • Paris - Palace of Versailles Today you may enjoy a tour to the Palace and Gardens of Versailles. This retreat of French royalty offers sumptuous reception rooms, the intriguing Hall of Mirrors, famous fountains and formal gardens. (B) Day 12 • Homeward Return home, via our transatlantic flight, late this afternoon. (B)
