Day 1: Paris -
Honfleur - Caen. Normandy motorway. View of the newly built Normandy
bridge. Honfleur: guided visit of the port and Ste-Catherine's church.
On to Deauville and Cabourg. Lunch on your own in a summer resort. Drive
along the landing beaches: Gold Juno and Sword. Stop at Saint-Côme Belvédère.
Arromanches. Bayeux: visit to Queen Mathilda's tapestry. Caen: visit to
the Memorial museum. Dinner and overnight Hôtel Novotel or similar.
Day 2: Caen, Saint-Malo,
Mont-Saint-Michel, Angers. Visit to St-Malo, city of the pirates. Lunch
on your own. Guided visit to the abbey of the Mont-Saint Michel. Dinner
and overnight in Angers at the Mercure-Lac de Maine hotel or similar.
Day 3: Angers (view
of chateau from outside). Pass by Cunault and Saumur. Guided visit to
the castle of Amboise. Lunch on your own. Guided visits to the castle of
Azay-le-Rideau and to the Gardens of Villandry. Dinner and overnight in
Tours at Quality Turone or Clarion Univers hotel or similar.
Day 4: Guided visit
to the castle of Chenonceau. Cheverny: visit to the castle and farewell
lunch at Hôtel Saint-Hubert. Guided visit to the castle of Chambord.
