The day is free to rest or start exploring the lively British
capital. On arrival at your hotel, uniformed hosts will advise you of
the time of the welcome meeting. You are invited to join your host for a
drink, collect your welcome wallet, and receive guidance about making
the most of your stay.
Day 3
London
After a hearty English breakfast, morning sightseeing with a
professional London guide includes all the famous landmarks: Royal
Albert Hall, Kensington Palace and the area’s splendid museums,
Knightsbridge with Harrods, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben beside
the River Thames, and Westminster Abbey. Highlights are a visit to ST.
PAUL’S CATHEDRAL and the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, if
held. Afternoon at leisure with plenty of suggestions for the rest of
the day.
Days 4 to 7
At Leisure in London
Four days for independent activities and so much to do and see.
Your valuable London Visitor Travelcard makes it easy to get around on
your own. Take advantage of your London For Less information
booklet and shopping, dining, and sightseeing discounts. Enjoy your ride
on the London Eye, London’s latest major visitor attraction (not
available for tours Jan 4 - 25th due to annual maintenance). Excursions
to the Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge are
available. Your host will have more information.
Day 8
Your homebound flight arrives the same day.
