Day 1: Arrive Prague (Tuesday)
You will be met and
transferred to the hotel by our local host. Plenty of time to relax
before dinner where you will meet your fellow travelers. (D,O)
Day 2: Prague (Wednesday)
A morning sightseeing tour takes
us to the Royal Castle of Hradcany and into the old part of the city
to view the Jewish Ghetto, Wallenstein Garden and other sights of this
captivating city. The balance of the day is at leisure, Partakes in an
optional visit to one of the fine concerts in Prague. (B,O)
Day 3: Vienna (Thursday)
Today's destination is Vienna,
"City of Waltz" and one of the Europe's loveliest capitals. (B,O)
Day 4: Vienna (Friday)
Our morning sightseeing tour
features the Hofburg, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire,
the Belvedere Palace, views of Prater amusement park, UN buildings,
St. Stephen's Cathedral and other vivid reminders of the city's
imperial history. Tonight you will feast on traditional Heurigen
dinner in the charming suburb of Neustift. (B,D,O)
Day 5: Budapest (Saturday)
Today we will travel east,
cross the border between Austria and Hungary, and proceed onward
through the region of Transdanubia, reaching Budapest in time to relax
before dinner. 285 km (B,D,O)
Day 6: Budapest (Sunday)
Situated on the opposite banks of
the Danube River, the former cities of Buda and Pest are linked by a
series of graceful bridges. Our morning sightseeing tour includes all
the main attractions: the Parliament, Royal Palace, Castle Hill area,
Fisherman's Bastion, Coronation Church, Hero's Square and Gellert
Hill. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore this exciting
city on your own or partake in an optional excursion to Szentendre.

Day 7: Depart Budapest (Monday)
After breakfast we transfer to
the airport where we board our home bound flight. (B)
