No visit to the isle of Borneo would be complete without seeing "the people of the jungle," as the fascinating human like orangutans are called. This port on the Sulu Sea in Malaysian Borneo is gateway to Sepilok, the home of the famous orangutan sanctuary, one of the few places in the world where you can see these intriguing animals in their natural setting. Here too can be found gibbons, macaques, Malay sun bears and the Sumatran rhinoceros.
