8 Days

Day 1:             Departure
We depart for an overnight flight to Lima.  We will enjoy various meals and service while in flight.

Day 2:             Arrive in Lima
Upon our arrival in Lima we will be met by our Pilgrim Tours escort who will guide us to our awaiting motor coach.  We will enjoy an orientation tour en route to our hotel.  We will enjoy an afternoon tour of Miraflores and a special Folklore dinner show at a local restaurant.

DAY 3:            Lima City Tour
After breakfast we will enjoy a morning tour of Lima.  Our tour will include the colonial zone, the main square, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Church of San Francisco, the Catacombs, and then the modern districts of San Isidro.  Here we will visit Huaca Huallamarca, an impressive restored pre- Inca pyramid in the middle of the city.  Our afternoon will be free to visit the Miraflores area and view the beautiful Pacific Ocean. 

DAY 4:            Fly to Cusco
We depart our hotel in time to catch a morning flight from Lima to Cusco.  Upon our arrival in Cusco we will check into our hotel and enjoy the remainder of the afternoon free to become acclimated to the altitude

DAY 5:            Free Day in Cusco- Optional Excursion Opportunity
After breakfast our entire day will be free to shop and explore on our own or take an optional tour. 

DAY 6:            Machu Picchu Tour
We depart our hotel early this morning and travel by vistadome train to Aguas Calientes and take the bus to the ruins. Upon our arrival in Machu Picchu we will enjoy a guided tour  through the Lost city of the Incas, visiting multiple sectors: The guards tower, the three window temple, the round altar, the intihuatana, the royal tomb, the jail, the cemetery, the terraces, etc. all this surrounded by high mountains covered with tropical forest.  Later this afternoon we take our bus back to Aguas Calientes in time to catch our return vistadome train to Cusco.

DAY 7             Free Day in Cusco- Optional Excursion Opportunity
After breakfast our entire day will be free to shop and explore on our own or take an optional tour.   We will enjoy a special folklore dinner and show at a local Cusco restaurant this evening.

DAY 8             Return to USA
We depart Cusco early this morning and fly to Lima in time to catch our return flight to the USA.
