8 Day Tours (4 or 5 Star)

Day 1: Depart Chicago
We depart Chicago for an overnight flight to Cairo.  We will enjoy various meals and service while in flight. 

Day 2: Arrive in Cairo
Upon our arrival in Cairo we will be met by our Pilgrim Tours escort who will guide us to our awaiting motor coach.  We will enjoy an orientation tour of Cairo en route to our hotel.  Upon our arrival at our hotel we will have time to rest and freshen up before our welcome dinner as a group. 

Day 3: Cairo Tour
After breakfast we will enjoy a tour of Cairo.  Our tour will include a visit to the Egyptian Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Egyptian National Museum.  This afternoon we will visit the Grand Bazaar for time to shop and barter with the locals. We will return to our hotel and enjoy a free night or take part in an optional Nile River Dinner Cruise this evening.

Day 4: Free day or Optional Alexandria Tour
Today will be free in Cairo or you can choose to take an optional tour to the ancient city of Alexandria.  While in Alexandria we will visit the Qait Bay fort, the Pompey’s Pillar, the Catacombs, the Alexandria Biblotheque and the Monataza Palaces.  We will enjoy a special seafood lunch while in Alexandria.
Full Day Alexandria Excursion:  $75.00 per person 

Day 5: Free Day or Optional Old Cairo Tour
After breakfast our entire day will be free to shop and explore on our own or take an optional tour of Old Cairo.  Our tour will include a visit to Memphins, Sakkara and the Coptic and Islamic center of Old Cairo.  We will also visit Khan el Khalili before returning to our hotel.  This evening you will have the opportunity to enjoy an optional Laser, Sound and Light Show at the Sphinx.
Old Cairo Tour: $75.00 per person
Laser, Sound and Light Show  $40.00 per person 

Day 6: Free day or Optional Suez Canal and Pharoanic Village
Our last day in Cairo is free to explore and shop on our own or take part in a visit to the Suez Canal.  The Suez Canal is the largest man made canal that ties the Red Sea with the Med. Sea and connects Africa and Asia.  Upon our return to Cairo we will stop in a Pharoanic village where we will see samples of Ancient Egyptian monuments and a show of the Ancient Egyptians daily life.  We will return to Cairo this afternoon and enjoy a farewell dinner as a group.
Suez Canal Tour: $75.00 per person 

Day 7 Return to USA
We depart Cairo early this morning and fly to the USA.
