Price Includes: Tourist class (2.5 star) or better lodging, modern transportation, expert Alaskan guide, admissions, sightseeing as listed, 9 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 snack, 1 dinner, 1 reception.


Not Included: Airfare, optional meals, gratuities for tour director and driver ($95) and items of personal nature.


Deposit Required: $300 per person will reserve your place. A $100 service fee will be charged for cancellation at any time in addition to our normal payment and cancellation policy.

Day 1 Friday

Fly into Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. Transfer via hotel courtesy shuttle and overnight in Anchorage (or purchase meet/transfer service for $40).

Day 2 Saturday

Breakfast will be included this morning. Board the deluxe motorcoach for today’s grand adventure to Valdez. Drive through the Matanuska Susitna Valley where world record monster size vegetables grow in the 24-hour daylight. Stop by Worthington Glacier for a look at this gigantic piece of ice. Early evening arrival into Valdez, Alaska’s Little Switzerland. Welcome reception included this evening. Overnight Valdez.

Day 3 Sunday

Breakfast will be included this morning. Spend the morning exploring the quaint community of Valdez with included entrance to the Valdez Museum. This afternoon, board a glacier and wildlife cruise and travel through the majestic Prince William Sound. Explore the three-mile face of the mighty Columbia Glacier and hear tales of the region as told by the Alaskan crew. Keep your eyes open for seals, sea lions, otters, whales, and puffins throughout this half-day exploration cruise with lunch included on the boat. Overnight Valdez.

Day 4 Monday

Breakfast will be included this morning. Board the motorcoach for a journey north to the largest city in the interior, Fairbanks; known to Alaskans as the Golden Heart City. The route takes you along the Wrangell- St. Elias National Park, the largest park in the U.S. and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Overnight Fairbanks.

Day 5 Tuesday

Breakfast will be included this morning. Today learn how the gold rush affected Alaska's interior on a sightseeing tour with an included visit to the Museum of the North. Time is available for shopping, walking or dining on your own in the downtown area. Cruise on the Chena River aboard a sternwheeler and experience the thrill of river travel. Tonight, consider purchasing the optional authentic salmon bake or $34 per person. Overnight Fairbanks.

Day 6 Wednesday

Breakfast will be included. Ride the motorcoach south to Denali National Park. Enjoy an afternoon of exploring this pristine area at your leisure by either participating in a complimentary park service activity or optional tour. There are many to choose from including mild or wild river rafting, flight seeing, a jet boat safari on the Nenana River or a visit to an Iditarod champions award winning dog kennel. Overnight Denali.

Day 7 Thursday

Breakfast will be included this morning. Today travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour and search the vast wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This six to eight hour journey is narrated allowing for insight into the animals, flora and fauna of this spectacular region including a snack on the bus. Early May & September tours are shortened due to road conditions. Overnight Denali.

Day 8 Friday

Breakfast will be included this morning. This morning travel by motorcoach to the climbing town of Talkeetna. Watch for a glimpse of the majestic Mt. McKinley or black bear along the banks of the Susitna River. Enjoy time on own to explore this quaint Alaskan town. This afternoon your journey continues south to Anchorage by rail in Deluxe Dome Railcars. You can pre purchase dinner on the train for $40 per person. Overnight Anchorage.

Day 9 Saturday

Breakfast will be included this morning. Enjoy a brief city tour of Anchorage, which includes the historic downtown district. Included visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center, a gathering place that celebrates, perpetuates and shares Alaska Native cultures. Tonight, share stories of your Alaskan Adventure with your traveling companions at a closing night dinner. Overnight Anchorage.

Day 10 Sunday

Breakfast will be included this morning. Your adventure comes to an end with a hotel courtesy shuttle transfer to the airport.
